How windy has it been over the last few days !
I thought I’d put a few notes in about Picton castle and its gardens. Its a fantastic place and is taking part in the nation garden scheme open day and its well worth a visit on a sunny day. Actually theirs a cafe so even in the rain its probably not too bad.
The castle is half fortified manor house and half f medieval castle which is pretty interesting in itself. There are 40 acres of grounds and gardens. There is a woodland walk and walled garden to visit. The castle itself hosts a number of galleries and there are a number of exhibitions each year.
